Where would society be without the GREAT DR. SUESS?
Ever dreamed of visiting whovile? Ever had green eggs and ham? Maybe you were curious how many apples you really could get up on top.
If so then you need to celebrate Dr. Suess in a whole new way!!!
Suggestions: Green egg spoon race (think plastic eggs here!) Sam I am rhyme contest Cat in the Hat hat craft Cat in the Hat game (sink cat bean bags into a hat)
While Dr. Suess' birthday is on March 2nd this event can be held anytime in March.
Who wants to sponsor this event in their area?

I didn't even pay attention to the poem - thought you just made it up. I am so not into memorization of Seuss when avoidable - hehee.
Okay anyone else other than Tracy want to jump in and host the Seussiness?

Well, it IS much abridged... I didn't feel like dredging up the other stuff - though I probably could go through most of it mentally from repeated readings. I guess there are worse things to have stuck in my head.

I have 11 kids coming so far... and it's only been up and posted for 2 days ... I've gone from zero attendance to a bunch... and honestly I'm a little scared how many more will be wanting to come LOL WOOTS i think... Yea, I think for comfort level I'll be deciding on a cap, so I don't run in fear!!

Taura,
I am REALLY glad that this is going to be a success for you.
You should make up fliers for your local group and make sure you give one to every parent in attendance. If you like I'd be glad to help you with fliers.
So far mine doesn't seem like it is going to be a success. No real commitments, RSVPs or even inquries so far. I'm not TOO terribly worried yet as I have time still.

Well, I do need to know how many are coming.... I think I'm going to ask each parent to supply their own "stuffing" for the bean bags... this way it's something they're ok with being in the bags. I'll stitch up the bags... so far I have to bring 12 bags for filling.... total of 5 families coming (mine included) and a possible 6th.... Gunna be a lot of kids and the ages are ranging from 4-12 and one infant (who I'm not counting in the amounts for things to make for)
Anywho, It will be interesting to see if I get anymore...
